On Wednesday China's State Customs issued information on the foreign imports and exports between January and September this year.
The total value of China's foreign import and export trade in the first three quarters was US$1272.61 billion, 24.3 percent more than in the same period last year. Of the total value, exports were worth US$691.23 billion, an increase of 26.5 percent, while imports where worth US$581.38, a 21.7 percent increase.
In September, the monthly value of foreign trade was US$167.98 billion, an increase of 26.6 percent. Exports were valued at US$91.64 billion, which represents an increase of 30.6 percent; imports were valued at US$76.34 billion, a 22 percent rise.
The monthly value of foreign imports and exports in September surpassed the record set in July.
The total value of imports and exports in domestic trade for the first three quarters of the year is US$547.18 billion, an increase of 25.3 percent. The total value of imports and exports in China's processing and assembling trade is US$596.17billon, an increase of 21.8 percent, according to statistics from State Customs.
