"World Trade Center" director Oliver Stone, along with several others, was honored on Thursday for his outstanding work in 2006 film industry as winner of the Hollywood Awards.
The awards for career achievement will be presented at the Oct. 23 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton near downtown Los Angeles, to be held in conjunction with the Hollywood Film Festival.
The nominees for the Hollywood Movie of the Year Award are:

-- "Little Miss Sunshine";
-- "Mission: Impossible III";
-- "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest";
-- "Superman Returns";

-- "X-Men: The Last Stand."
The winner will be decided by public voting at the Yahoo! Movies Website -- movies.yahoo.com.
