Dollar falls to lower 119 in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar dropped to the lower 119 yen level on Thursday in Tokyo with profit-taking.

At 5:00 p.m., the dollar traded at 119.42-45 yen, compared with Wednesday's 5:00 p.m. quotes of 119.74-84 yen in New York and 119. 48-51 yen in Tokyo.

It moved between 119.25 yen and 119.78 yen during the day, trading most frequently at 119.60 yen.

The euro was quoted at 1.2556-2559 dollars and 149.97-150.01 yen, against Wednesday's 5:00 p.m. quotes of 1.2509-2519 dollars and 149.86-96 yen in New York and 1.2542-2545 dollars and 149.88- 92 yen in Tokyo.
