There would be no "brutal change" in the proportional distribution between France and Germany in the production of Airbus airliners, French junior industry minister Francois Loos told media on Wednesday.
"The collaboration between the two countries and the many factories that participate in production is something that will not change," Loos said.
"It will change gradually, ... not brutally," he said.
Airbus is currently experiencing a management and production crisis, caused by the delays to its critical A380 superjumbo program and led to the resignation of its chief executive.
Airbus assembly takes place in both Hamburg, Germany and Toulouse, France. There has been speculation that under the new chief executive, Frenchman Louis Gallois, more work could be concentrated at the southern French plant.
