Tokyo shares lower in morning

Tokyo stocks traded lower on Tuesday's morning session after rising for the last four straight trading days.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 66.73 points, or 0.41 percent, to end the morning at 16,187.56.

The broader Tokyo Stock Price Index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 10.22 points, or 0.63 percent, to 1,614.90.
