By 6:00om of October 7, the cargo handling capacity of Tianjin Port has reached a total of 200 million tons, exceeding the 200 million tons point 24 days ahead compared with last year. Tianjin Port is expected to handle 250 million tons of cargo this year, becoming one of the world's largest ports.
As the largest comprehensive port in Bohai Gulf region and China's nearest departure port in the East of the bridge connecting Asia and Europe continental, Tianjin Port has formulated a particular cargo sources model which takes containers, oil products, ores, and coals as pillars sources with steel, grain and other sources as key sources. So far, Tianjin port has established trade connections with more than 400 ports of over 180 countries and regions across the world. The number of scheduled sailings exceeds 400 every month.
