Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Oct. 10

The gold price in Hong Kong rose 4 HK dollars to 5,352 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 577.45 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 0.43 U.S. dollars at Tuesday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.78 HK dollars.
