Asia's largest wind power generator begins operations

Asia's largest wind power generator in unit capacity recently went into operation on Dongshan Island, Fujian province in east China, according to the overseas edition of People's Daily on Tuesday.

It can generate 70 million kilowatts/hour per year and has a combined installed capacity of 30,000 kilowatts. China Longyuan Electric Power Group Corporation and other enterprises invested 330 million in the project.

Both energy-efficient and environment-friendly, this wind power generator is Asia's largest and most advanced.
