Angolan Defense minister, Kundi Paihama, pledged that his sector will continue providing the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) with the required technical and scientific skills enabling them to meet all challenges.
According to Angola Press Agency ANGOP on Monday, this is contained in a message of congratulation on the occasion of FAA'a 15th anniversary, October 15.
To the minister, the FAA's 15th anniversary takes place "at a time we continue witnessing with satisfaction and pride the process of restructuring and modernization of FAA that, among other aspects, seeks to create in the effectives a solid military education, high sense of duty, honor and loyalty."
He added that the FAA action is always the reflex of sentiments of nobility, braveness, patriotism and courage, inspired in a supreme vocation that is the defense of the Nation and of the people against any type of threat.
He thus appealed to the FAA effectives to remain vigilant, disciplined and ready in their traditional mission of guaranteeing the defense of independence, safeguard of the national sovereignty and of the democratic institutions.
