A military exercise started in northern Greece on Monday, which was part of a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Deployable Corps-Greece headquarters training program.
The drill, code-named Gordian Knot '06, under NATO auspices, includes the partial deployment of the Headquarters in northern Greece and will run through Nov. 15, the ANA news agency reported.
The program includes the movement of Greek and Allied forces on land, sea and air with the use of appropriate means and vehicles.
Heavy artillery shooting will take place on Nov. 15, according to military sources.
