Unknown miscreants on Friday fired rockets at a police checkpost in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP), but no casualties have been reported in the attack, local private Geo TV said.

The rockets fired over a police checkpost at Changezi Bridge near Bannu, 120 km southwest of capital city of NWFP Peshawar, early Friday morning at 4:00 a.m. local time, according to the report.

The rockets landed near checkpost with loud explosions but no losses of life or property were reported, sources said.
