China and France join hands to build helicopter

At the 6th China International Air Show, China Aviation Industry Corporation II and the Eurocopter Group announced that they will work together on an advanced medium-sized helicopter project. The project, the 15/EC175 Helicopter Program, will be invested in equally by the two companies.

Together they will design, develop and manufacture the six-ton helicopter at two separate production lines in France and China. The helicopters will be available to purchase across the world.
