Pakistan has claimed 172 more dengue patients in last 24 hours, and the number of patients with symptoms similar to dengue fever have been admitted to different hospitals reaching 2,350 across the country, it was reported on Thursday.
According to a press release of Pakistani Ministry of Health, 741 patients have been found positive for dengue fever all over the country.
The death cases stand at 31 out of which 30 reported from southwestern Sindh province and one from North west Frontier Province (NWFP).
The total number of positive cases in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are 96.
Nearly 2,039 patients during last six months were reported to be hospitalized with suspected Acute Haemorrhagic Fever (AHF) in the Pakistan's largest port city Karachi.
