Advanced technology on display at Zhuhai air show

Some of China's most sophisticated aviation and aerospace technology has been unveiled at the 6th International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, which kicked off in Zhuhai city in southern China on October 30, 2006.

Moon vehicles and space stations being researched by China Aerospace Science & Technology Corporation are on display. Next generation large carrier rockets, new small carrier rockets, satellites and Systems for Precision Guided Weapons are also exhibited.

A spokesperson for China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation said that they will have 110 items on display, of which 60 percent are new items. There are 70 items on display for the first time and nearly 20 types of missiles being shown.
