Four people, including one policeman, were killed and 11 others wounded in two separate bomb attacks in Baghdad on Tuesday, a well-informed police source said.
"A booby-trapped car parked near Beirut Square on Palestine Street in eastern Baghdad detonated in morning rush hour, killing three people and wounding 10 others," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb went off near a passing police patrol on a highway in southern Baghdad, killing one policeman and wounding another, the source added.
Violence rages in Iraq as sectarian killings, car bombings and roadside bombs cause dozens of Iraqi casualties daily.
