Abbas says any Palestinian coalition gov't must respect past peace deals

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Wednesday at a joint news conference with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that any coming Palestinian national unity government would respect the previous peace deals signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization ( PLO).
