Gold price lower in Hong Kong -- Oct. 4

The gold price in Hong Kong dropped 141 HK dollars to 5,342 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 575.1 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 16 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.785 HK dollars.
