Malaysia Airlines announced Wednesday that it would resume its thrice-weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Beirut, capital of Lebanon, beginning on Oct. 15.
The flights will depart Kuala Lumpur for Beirut via Dubai on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and the return flights from Beirut will depart on the same days and arrive in Kuala Lumpur next day, the Malaysian national carrier said in a news release.
Malaysia Airlines suspended its thrice-weekly Airbus A330 services to and from Beirut in July this year as the airport in the Lebanese capital was temporarily closed due to the conflicts in the Middle East.
In addition, the airlines said that it will withdraw its operations between Kuala Lumpur and Cairo, capital of Egypt, beginning on Nov. 1.
