Earthquake jolts seas of Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted the sea waters near Kepulauan Talaud, Indonesia at 11:58 a.m. (Hong Kong time) (0358 GMT) Wednesday.

According to the Hong Kong Observatory, the epicenter was initially determined to be 4.1 north latitude and 126.5 east longitude, about 560 kilometers north-northeast of Manado.
