Gold price lower in Hong Kong -- Oct. 23

The gold price in Hong Kong went down 80 HK dollars to 5,439 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 587.03 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 8.67 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7775 HK dollars.
