Egypt have agreed to play an international friendly against five-time world champions Brazil in February 2007 in Paris, Egyptian media reported on Sunday.
"We've officially accepted the Arab sports promoter's invitation to play against Brazil," local soccer website filgoal.com quoted Egyptian Football Association president Samir Zaher as saying.
Zaher said the Egyptian FA and national coach Hassan Shehata welcomed the Brazilian request, adding the Egyptian FA is looking forward to having Egypt play against strong world teams.
Zaher did not reveal any further details concerning the exact of the match's date.
Brazil played several friendlies in the Arab region recently and the last one came against Kuwait earlier this month.
The Samba boys will take on Switzerland in Basel on Nov. 15, while Egypt play South Africa in London.
