Chinese veteran Zhang Ning wins at China Open badminton tourney

Chinese veteran Zhang Ning won in straight sets over Yao Jie from Netherlands to win women's singles final at the China Open Badminton Championships here on Sunday.

The Japan Open title winner was faster and more aggressive than her opponent as she won 21-14, 21-5.

The 32-year-old Zhang displayed composure as she made fewer unforced errors than Yao to take the first set before she mastered the net play completely in the second.
