FBI investigates threats to stadiums
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed a resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday in its investigation into threats posted on a website about attacking football stadiums in the country this weekend, news reports said.
That person was a young adult, and the message posted on a website on Oct. 12 appeared to be phony, the reports said.
The threats about using radioactive bombs against National Football League (NFL) stadiums were first reported on Wednesday, when the NFL and local authorities in York, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland became alerted.
Authorities said the threats about using radioactive bombs against NFL stadiums lacked intelligence support, according to the reports.
