Gold price lower in Hong Kong -- Oct. 19

The gold price in Hong Kong went down 45 HK dollars to 5,440 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 586.98 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 7.32 U.S. dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.7795 HK dollars.
