Chinese Bao Chunlai coasted into the men's singles third round at the China Open badminton championships here on Wednesday as he came over from one set down to conquer Kidd Nicholas of England 9-21, 21-11 and 21-11.
The Chinese found his rhythm slowly after he lost the first set 9-21.
In the second, the Englishman once took the lead but Bao caught up quickly. From a 6-all tie, Bao began to take the control of the game as he did not let Kidd get any point until 14-6.
After winning the second 21-11, Bao displayed his genius in the third match by mastering the net play.
Kidd once again found his rhythm as he caught up from 3-9 to 10-12, Bao, the Korea Open champion began to dominate the match and turned it into a lop-sided affari.
When the Chinese reaped 19 points, Kidd only managed for one more point before Bao breezily ousted the Englishman 21-11 to enter the third round.
Bao will next meet Hariyanto Agus from Hong Kong, China who beat Go Eric from the United States 21-14 and 21-13.
