Gold price lower in Hong Kong -- Oct. 18

The gold price in Hong Kong went down 20 HK dollars to 5,485 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 594.30 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 0.16 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.7755 HK dollars.
