The business manager of the Russian state news agency Itar-Tass was found dead on Monday in his flat in central Moscow, prosecutors said.
Anatoly Voronin, 55, died last night as a result of "multiple knife wounds," Itar-Tass said citing prosecutors. His body was found by Voronin's driver, who promptly called police.
Investigators are probing the death as a murder case, the Interfax news agency said.
Voronin had been working for Itar-Tass for 23 years and was responsible for the agency's maintenance, construction, repairs and other services.
