Chinese student killed in NZ fire

A Chinese student was killed ina fire Monday in Blockhouse Bay in Auckland, said the Police.

The Chinese student was found crouched in the wardrobe of his burning home by firemen at 02:45 Monday morning. The student was identified as Zhou Xu, the police said, giving no more details.

A post mortem examination suggests he died as a result of the fire. Police said there is evidence an accelerant was used to start the blaze.
