Three Iraqis were killed and ten others, including policemen, wounded in three bomb attacks targeted Iraqi police forces in Baghdad Monday morning, a police source said.
"A makeshift bomb went off at about 7:30 a.m. (0430 GMT) near a police patrol near the Sinak Brabch of al-Rashid Bank in central Baghdad," a police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
An hour later, a roadside bomb detonated near another police patrol at the same area, the source said.
A total of three people were killed and seven others wounded, including policemen, the source added.
"A third roadside bomb blast targeted a police patrol on the highway of Muhammad al-Qassim, near the Technology University, wounding three policemen," he said.
Insurgents frequently attack Iraqi police forces, accusing them of collaboration with the U.S. occupation.
