This Sunday, the WBO/IBF super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe will defend his titles against Sakio "Scorpian" Bika.
Calzaghe has a perfect record of 41 wins, 31 KO's without a loss, including 18 WBO title defenses in nine years and is the longest reigning current champion in the world.
In his last fight against the IBF super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy who has been riding high on acclaims from the United States, Calzaghe made a splendid boxing show by overwhelming the unbeaten American in a blasting one-sided fashion. Even Calzaghe's partisan Welsh fans started to show compassion to the American as he lost rounds relentlessly.
Bika is much more of a limited fighter than Lacy is. It is obvious that this match will generally be a routine fight for Calzaghe.
In his past few fights, Bika showed adequate capability and endurance. He'll probably be competitive, and maybe have his moments, but the experienced super middleweight King should have more weapons in his arsenal and handle Bika's attack craftly.
This will be a fight with little uncertainty. Calzaghe will make his 19th title defense by TKO in the late rounds.
