Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Oct. 13

The gold price in Hong Kong went up 34 HK dollars to 5,357 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 576.50 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 2.18 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.78 HK dollars.
