Anti-polio immunization campaign organized in Nepal

The nationwide anti-polio immunization campaign for children below five years is taking place on Saturday and Sunday in Nepal, the Ministry of Health said Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health, polio drops are administered to children under the National Polio Immunization Campaign organized in three phases every year.

This will be the first phase of the campaign for this year and the second and third phases will be held in the months of November and December respectively.

For the purpose, immunization centers have been set up in all the ward offices of all the villages and municipalities across the country and essential volunteers mobilized, the ministry said.
